Following a joint consortium bid for the recent Homes England Delivery Partner Dynamic Purchasing System, Public Sector Plc and its consortium partner the Claritas Group are delighted to have secured a place as a strategic delivery partner.
This framework will be used by Homes England to procure developers for most of their residential sites but it can also be used by other public sector bodies who wish to dispose of land but maintain an element of control. The DPS replaces Homes England’s previous Delivery Partner Panel on which 70 developers and housebuilders held a place.
Homes England has a portfolio of over 600 active projects and delivery partners will be expected to focus on making significant use of MMC.
Combining Claritas’ MMC expertise through their wholly owned subsidiary division, Claritas Four Zero, and PSP strategic asset management skills will provide Homes England with a robust asset in the delivery of their portfolio.
PSP will add value to land and property assets by providing additional resources, expertise, and funding and Claritas Four Zero will add value through our agnostic approach to MMC delivery as well as charging no OH&P on pre manufactured value.
The new DPS will run for 10 years replacing DPP3, which reached the end of its term in July 2021. The procurement is expected to be used to procure homes with a total GDV of £20bn.
Paul Brown, CEO of Public Sector Plc commented “Public Sector Plc and Claritas share the same values in delivering zero carbon, affordable, MMC homes to speed up the development of housing across the country and to drive down the costs of energy bills for occupiers. We are delighted to have secured a place on the new Homes England DPS and be partnering with Claritas in the delivery of high quality new homes”.
Jon Wardle, CEO of Claritas said “Securing a place on the new DPS is a great achievement. A key part of the DPS is Homes England’s objectives for design, quality, sustainability and the use of MMC to accelerate delivery. This aligns with the objectives of Claritas Four Zero and our innovation partnerships”.
