Our partnerships

We have established partnerships with public sector bodies across the country, supporting each one to deliver their corporate plans and objectives. We are uniquely placed to offer property expertise, skills and investment to the public sector, enabling commercialisation and creating value through existing land and property assets.

Partnerships

Build&Thrive

Established in 2014, Build&Thrive is a partnership between Cheshire West & Cheshire Council and Public Sector Plc. Created to support the Council in achieving their corporate objectives, the Partnership provides strategic asset management to deliver development, regeneration and socio-economic benefits for the community.

Public Sector Plc has been working with the team at CW&C on a variety of projects including the regeneration of Winsford Industrial Estate project.

Winsford Industrial Estate has been in operation for over 30 years and in 2018, the team at Public Sector Plc identified an opportunity to unlock employment land adjacent to the existing estate for development and expansion as well upgrading infrastructure and access to the estate. Operating through the Partnership, the team at Public Sector Plc invested at risk in the necessary professional appointments to secure planning and managed a competitive tender exercise for the site infrastructure works.

Develop Renew

In 2020 we established a 50/50 partnership with Derbyshire County Council to help us deliver on the Council Property 2025 vision and the Asset Management Framework.

Derbyshire County Council, Property 2025 will deliver a 5-year rolling programme of reviews for every property that they own. It will ensure all properties are fit for purpose, support dynamic service delivery, make the most of their potential.

The partnership will provide additional resource to help  review, develop and renew our property and land assets to complement the council’s own skills in reviewing all aspects of building performance.

The Develop Renew brand has been created to represent the partnership so everyone understands how it fits with the council and how it will work for the community.

Develop Renew is already working on a number of asset management projects, more details on this to follow in the coming months. If you’d like to find out more, you can contact the team email hello@developrenew.co.uk
