Derelict manor house

This was a large site to the east of Bolton set within a wooded area and containing the footprint of a former Victorian country house that had been used as a children’s home prior to demolition. The site had been untouched for many years and was considered a liability for the council.

The partnership was able to secure planning permission for the construction of five new, substantial dwellings and the site was sold almost as soon as it went on the market.

The value added by the partnership through the planning process meant that there was plenty of competition amongst developers for the site. The houses, designed to a very high specification are now being built as they are sold for prices in excess of £1.5 million each.
